Fluorescent microscopy of blue-stained cancer cells

HSCI is a network of over 350 faculty across Harvard who are harnessing the power of stem cells to find new treatments and cures for disease.

HSCI has been breaking down barriers to collaboration in stem cell science since 2004. We have been instrumental in changing the traditional model of research, which kept a wall between exploratory research and commercial development. Now, we bring communities together across sectors to work on shared problems and advance the frontiers of medicine.

Principal Faculty

HSCI's Principal Faculty represent a diverse group of Harvard faculty, each of whom participates actively as a committee member, program leader or scientific mentor in addition to conducting world-class research. Our Principal Faculty members are committed to advancing the mission of HSCI.
