"The mentorship I received was amazing. Add to that all the biomedical infrastructure, and the connections between industry and the university and hospitals in the Boston area — it really sets it apart from other places. There is a strong focus on disease-oriented research at Harvard and HSCI, so for me it is a wonderful place to explore."Jorge Diego Martin Rufino2017 HIP intern
"The most valuable part of the experience is to be exposed to new challenges. I’ve been put in a lab where I had to learn new techniques, to adapt quickly, and to understand the scientific meaning of what I was doing. That opened my mind to how I approached science."Ange Uwimana2016 HIP Intern
