Agarwal Lab: Research Assistant

Agarwal Laboratory
Stem Cell Program
Division of Hematology/Oncology
Boston Children’s Hospital

The Agarwal laboratory in the Stem Cell Program and Division of Hematology/Oncology at Boston Children’s Hospital seeks a highly-motivated individual for the position of Research Assistant. Our laboratory applies genetics, reprogramming, and genome editing technologies to patient-derived samples to study normal stem cell biology as well as the basis of stem cell failure and disease. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who aims to contribute to our fundamental understanding of biology, and also to see advances applied to human diseases. This full-time position is available immediately.... Read more about Agarwal Lab: Research Assistant

Sherwood Lab: Research Assistant

We are seeking outstanding candidates for a research technician position focusing on advanced genome engineering and gene therapy in the lab of Richard Sherwood in the Division of Genetics at Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School to start in the summer of 2021. Our lab uses CRISPR-Cas9 genome editing and genomic screening approaches to understand gene regulation and develop treatments for genetic diseases.... Human Neuron Core: Research Assistant

Research Assistant, Human Neuron Core
Translational Neuroscience Center
Boston Children’s Hospital

A research assistant position is available with a flexible start date for Winter or Spring 2021 within the Human Neuron Core at Boston Children’s Hospital. The individual will join a fast-paced team that utilizes human induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSC)-derived neurons to model neurological disease. The research assistant will be trained to culture iPSCs, differentiate neurons, and characterize the neurons using cutting-edge technologies. The research assistant will coordinate with the clinical team to collect and process blood/skin samples from patients with rare neurological disorders. The individual is expected to work closely with other researchers at the Human Neuron Core to maintain and optimize quality control protocols with respect to induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) and iPSC-derived neuron differentiation. The candidate is expected to actively participate in core meeting discussions and presentations.... Read more about Human Neuron Core: Research Assistant
