Program of the Harvard Alumni Association.

Registration and $5.00 fee is required of all, though Harvard students are admitted free of charge.

A leader in the field of stem cell biology, Dr. Amy Wagers has done groundbreaking research to uncover new migratory pathways and signaling networks that regulate the functioning of blood-forming and muscle-forming stem cells. Understanding how these cells function and how to manipulate them could lead to better treatments for a range of diseases including diabetes, anemia, and muscular dystrophy.

Join the Harvard Alumni Association and Professor Wagers for an evening discussion of stem cells, gene-editing, muscle diseases, and the potential therapeutic benefits that stem cell gene editing may have for these diseases.
