RESEARCH LAB TECHNOLOGIST
TISSUE ENGINEERING/REGENERATIVE MEDICINE

A Research Technologist position is available in the Laboratory for Tissue Engineering and Organ Fabrication within the Center for Regenerative Medicine at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.

The applicant will participate in a variety of ongoing basic science, model development, biocompatibility, and translational studies. Must possess advanced laboratory skills including primary animal and human cell isolation, cell and tissue culture, light and fluorescence microscopy, image processing and analysis, rodent handling and anesthesia as well as functional, histological, molecular biology, and biochemical analyses. 

The applicant will also participate in maintaining the smooth operations of the lab. This includes a variety of duties such as maintaining lab supplies, monitoring equipment, providing lab support, and communicating with vendors.

For both roles, the applicant must have excellent organizational skills with great attention to detail and be capable of independent as well as collaborative work. Multitasking abilities, flexibility, and adaptability to changing and challenging environment are essential.

ELIGIBLITY: A bachelor's or master's degree in biological sciences is required, along with at least 5+ years of practical full-time laboratory employment.
