Center for Stem Cell and Translational Immunotherapy

The Center for Stem Cell and Translational Immunotherapy at Brigham and Women’s Hospital invites applications for research fellows. We seek highly motivated research fellows with research interests aligning the mission of our center. Our research center is focused on developing novel cellular apoptotic, anti-angiogenic and oncolytic virus based therapeutic strategies for primary and metastatic brain tumors. Inherently linked to the brain tumor therapy paradigm, we employ fluorescent/bioluminescent imaging markers and optical imaging techniques to image stem cell fate and monitor the effect of therapeutic protein delivered to tumors.

The successful candidate should have a PhD degree or equivalents, with experience in one or more of the following techniques: stem cell biology, gene cloning, vector construction, oncolytic viruses and animal surgeries. We offer excellent training opportunities in a collaborative research environment including molecular biology, virology, stem cell biology, gene delivery to tumors and imaging disciplines.

If you are interested, please send your resume, a cover letter describing research experience and interests, and two references to Dr. Khalid Shah at kshah@bwh.harvard.edu.
