“Each and every one of my interactions with HSCI has guided me down a path that has redefined what my scientific interests are, what my career objectives are, as well as who I am as a person.” Li participated in HSCI’s Intern Program (HIP) in 2009 and 2011. Now, he is an MD/PhD candidate in the Harvard-MIT Health Sciences and Technology program, studies craniofacial development in HSCI Principal Faculty member Eric Liao’s Lab at Massachusetts General Hospital, serves on the alumni career panel during HIP’s summer program, and mentors new interns in the Liao Lab.
