Spring 2014 Star Family Challenge Recipient Presentations

Tuesday, May 27, 2014, 11:00am to 1:00pm

Location:

University Hall Faculty Room

The Star Family Challenge for Promising Scientific Research is open to Harvard faculty in the natural or social sciences to submit high-risk, high-impact projects with an interdisciplinary focus. Twice a year, a selection committee of faculty members choose projects for awards ranging in size from $20,000 to $200,000.

On May 27, come support a colleague and give feedback on innovative research as the prize recipients of the spring 2014 awards present their work and gain outside perspectives on their research projects from the audience. One of this year's four award winners is Professor Richard Lee, MD, of HSCRB, HSCI, and Brigham and Women's Hospital, known for his cardiology and diabetes research, as well as his GDF11/aging collaboration with Amy Wagers, PhD.
