Prerequisites: A working knowledge of beginner R and/or attendance at the Introduction to R workshop last month

Workshop description:

For this workshop, we will be using the Tidyverse data science packages for data munging and wrangling. We will also explore a variety of plotting methods (ggplot2), while learning how to wrangle our data to get it into an appropriate format for plotting. This is a free, hands-on workshop available to all Harvard affiliates with no registration required.

Preparation Instructions:

  • This workshop requires you to have R and RStudio downloaded and installed on your computer
  • Install the tidyverse and RColorBrewer R packages as detailed here
  • Download the R project directory here. Decompress and move the folder to a location on your computer where you would like to work through the materials (e.g. Desktop)
