ethical frontiers

The amazing "plasticity" of human cells opens up exciting new possibilities for patient diagnosis and treatment, anti-aging research, organ generation, and more. These possibilities inspire hope for new cures in the future, but many may wonder whether there ought to be ethical limits to how we harness the power of human plasticity.

Drs. Insoo Hyun and George Church will lead the audience through advances in synthetic human biology and help us identify and navigate the ethical issues involved.
