Open Position: Research Technician

The laboratory of Jonathan Hoggatt of the Cancer Center and Center for Transplantation Sciences at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School seeks a talented, enthusiastic individual to join their team. The laboratory explores novel stem cell therapies in hematology, to treat leukemia, lymphoma and other blood disorders and broadly explores stem cell niche interactions and macrophage biology. This position will coordinate laboratory research activities with work including treatment and tissue harvesting from mice, mouse genotyping, cell culture, flow cytometry, daily laboratory maintenance, etc. Experience with molecular biology techniques including DNA and RNA extraction, RT-PCR, and prior experience with mice is desirable. Detailed record keeping of experimental procedures, results and animal husbandry is expected. Two year commitment is strongly preferred.
