The Lab Supervisor will be responsible for:
- Supervising the daily laboratory operations
- animal colony management and husbandry
- establishment of procedures and maintenance of records and documentation toensure the laboratory's compliance with hospital and governmental regulations
- Purchasing and equipment maintenance, animal colony management and husbandry, and establishment of procedures and maintenance of records and documentation to ensure the laboratory's compliance with hospital and governmental regulations
- Performing injections by different routes of administration and biopsies, tissue harvests and histopathology, PCR, molecular cloning, immunohistochemistry, and tissue culture.
To qualify, you must have…
- B.S. in a biological science
- 2-3 years experience with animals, molecular biology, genetics, and/or tissue culture a plus.
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills are essential.
