For the seventh consecutive year, HSCI will offer 10 weeks of funded, hands-on, supervised research to a select group of talented undergraduates from Harvard and colleges and universities from across the United States and the world.
HSCI members, particularly post-docs and tenure-track faculty, are encouraged to apply to host a funded student for summer, 2011.
As mentor, you would be required to:
• Develop a research project to be accomplished in a 10-week framework
• Provide on-going mentorship to this undergraduate during the June-August, 2011 timeframe
• Allow and encourage the student to attend a weekly stem cell biology class and seminar series
• Attend the final undergraduate symposium on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 where your intern will present his/her research findings both orally and in poster format
Are you interested in serving as a HSCI Internship Program mentor?
Go online to www.hsci.harvard.edu/node/2825 to apply.
The deadline to be a mentor is Monday, January 31, 2011.
