2012 HSCI call for proposals – Kidney Program pilot grants

December 16, 2011

The Harvard Stem Cell Institute (HSCI) Kidney Program invites applications for up to two Program Grant and up to two Pilot Grants for 2012. The purpose of this funding program is to provide resources for research in adult kidney disease with the goal of developing new therapeutic strategies. As such, a critical component is the translatability of the research project. This may take many forms, and does not require human subjects research, however thought should be given as to how funds will be best used to ultimately bring new therapies to the clinic. Preference will be given to projects focused on the adult kidney, for which current funding sources are not available and where clinical potential is high.
